“As I grew in judo he opened up the opportunity for me and some other students to go into a school with him and help teach the kids there about the basics of judo.”
“Just traveled to Wisconsin for my first time ever to attend the 2024 AAU Judo National Championship in Brown Deer, hosted by Norm Miller and Judo, Inc.”
“He teaches you personally in all of the classes and he does not keep you from learning more complicated throws or techniques because you are not in a high enough "rank".”

From the reviews
My kids have been going to Judo Inc for the past six months. I really appreciate the coach, Norman Miller, who takes a personal interest in the kids development. They have been growing in their self confidence and learning of judo. I would highly recommend Judo Inc.
I brought my daughter in for a trial class and she loved it. While observing this class, I found myself wanting to join in, too, and because it’s a mixed class of adults and children, that’s exactly what I did.
I have been attending Judo Inc. since I was 5 years old and now I am 18!! This has been one of the best experiences of my life. Norman has taught me so much and encouraged me to keep pushing. He and my other team members are so supportive and that’s was keeps you going.
I have been going to Judo Inc for about seven years, and I have come to love "Mr Norm". He is a great instructor and he takes an interest in your life, both in and out of Judo.
Your first judo class at Judo Inc
Nervous about walking into a judo dojo for the first time? Almost everyone is, and good sensei expect beginners to come through the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: a typical first class is a warm-up, learning to fall safely (ukemi), then drilling a throw or two and some groundwork with a partner — not hard randori. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: athletic wear you can move in (or a judogi if you have one); you'll train barefoot on the mats. What to bring: water and a mouthguard if you have one — many dojos lend a loaner judogi for a first class, so it's worth asking when you call. As you keep training you'll add your own judogi. Live randori eases in gradually, once your fundamentals are solid. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign a waiver and meet the sensei. It gets easier fast — most people feel far more at home by their third class.
